Tony has been very superstitious with uniform choices in recent post seasons. A such, I bet we see the Dark Modes again.

Gameday morning's Fickle Forecast of Fate for FSU

[data as of 8AM CDT] The rain prediction has changed dramatically back and forth every day since Sunday. So expect that it may change again within the next 6 hours. (Hay harvesters must go crazy up there!)

But the winds and wind directions have held steady in the forecast. I don't know how this stadium effects the wind, but if pitchers can't keep the ball over the outside of the plate against leftys... dongfest could ensue. (Your yardage may vary.)

On the other hand, our lefty batters have shown plenty of ability to take outside pitches opposite field for singles and doubles. So let's hit 'em where they ain't--including Mike Fahey Street!

SEC is now a beast in baseball too! I know we won 6-1. But, I would rather take my chances on FSU beating UT twice than UNC. UNC had much better pitching this season. UT gave up 11 earned runs a lot of it due to 9 walks. That won't happen again! They messed up when they didn't close the door the first game. They will not beat UT twice! UNC would have had a better chance due to their pitching. I don't see FSU scoring more than 4 runs tomorrow. UT will score at least 5! UT gets it done and rests until Saturday!!!

Not that I disagree with your overall post, but the bold isn't that solid of an argument when you remember that the ACC also had the other 4 teams make the CWS lol Granted, they should all be but eliminated after today (I hope!)

if we hadn't made so many errors on easy plays, then there would have been no talk at all about a check swing.

Ok I can understand having confidence in the team your playing for that has been thriving after they lost to Tennessee on a Friday Night , however best team in the country doesn’t look entirely right because Tennessee is a top dog that found a way to defeat them in a challenging ugly game that had Tennessee making 1 more error, also Tennessee able to score 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning.
