The Official 2024 NFL Season Thread

Kudos to the Lions that roared victorious in Detroit because they defeated the Rams in an unforgettable thrilling competitive game.

Cowboys once again showing everyone they're not on decline. Don't want to hear both OT out for Browns. Dallas has a rookie LT and Rookie Center and still dominated the Browns . As long as they have that dominate defense they going to be in every game. Mike Zimmer better DC than Dan Quinn.

Dallas has looked impressive to me for the last several years. I don’t know what happens in the playoffs though.

The Titans were 4 point dogs and had a17 point lead...66 of the last 67 teams in that situation covered.

Burrow is my favorite QB to watch, and I'm pretty fearful he's just gonna be fragile the rest of his career. The calf last year was weird and then he hurts his wrist mysteriously and it's still not better. He wasn't throwing consecutive days in camp this year. This is 2 straight years he's not healthy in week 1, and this is a guy who hasn't had an ACL or Achilles. (edit: I forgot, he did have an ACL his rookie year).

Even still, he was very accurate yesterday, but I don't think they were opening up the offense. Chase looked listless, and Bengals players failed to hang onto the ball on big plays like 4x in the redzone (TD drop, fumble, INT drop). IDK what to think about the game or the team. They seem to start 0-2 every year. Higgins would have helped .

You obviously don't know much about Joe Burrow. His ACL injury was huge to his NFL career. Can't believe you didn't know that

I don't know about this EPA stat for QBs. Burrow had a so so day, middle of the pack but he wasn't as bad as Will Levis or Daniel Jones.

This is far more indicative of his day:

What are y’all expecting from Aaron Rodgers tonight?
I’m curious to see how he performs.
