Holy hell those last two throws by Hurts were god awful
Love’s mechanics look terrible to me. Seems he’s always throwing falling back with no forward thrust from his legs. All arm. Prone to accuracy issues as a result.
?? Haven’t heard this take yet.Love’s mechanics look terrible to me. Seems he’s always throwing falling back with no forward thrust from his legs. All arm. Prone to accuracy issues as a result.
Better than the other options they had. Trey Lance is garbage and Free Agency next year is pathetic.
Either the Bears having great defensive line pressure or the Titans offensive line that last season was so bad at pass blocking last year they were at times running the ball late in low rushing yard games in the hopes of just trying to take some of the pressure off the QB on every single drop back to pass…is still bad.Wasn’t able to watch the game but saw the Titans were up 17. Disappointing to see the Bears come back, they are supposed to be a lot better this year. Was it a case of Chicago playing lights out or Tennessee not playing well?
Why didn’t Tennessee take Hooker?Either the Bears having great defensive line pressure or the Titans offensive line that last season was so bad at pass blocking last year they were at times running the ball late in low rushing yard games in the hopes of just trying to take some of the pressure off the QB on every single drop back to pass…is still bad.
Probably a variety of reasons. A lot of teams passed on him until the Lions picked him in the 3rd round (…and likely their long term plans revolve around him being Goff’s backup)…his very serious injury the previous season combined with how it made him unable to workout at Combine plus the extended recovery period into his rookie year he was still going to need before he could play plus his age (26) and his already unfortunately having a past history of injuries made a lot of teams not comfortable with looking at him as being a future starter, especially a long term one.Why didn’t Tennessee take Hooker?
Thanks for the detailed response. Makes a lot of sense.Probably a variety of reasons. He wouldn’t have fixed the offensive line issues and would have been getting hit/speared/dropped by a defensive lineman on every pass drop back as well.
