The other story for the tournament, which applies to college athletics in general right now......it's a Big10/SEC world and everyone else is just living in it.

Honestly mad props to Cal for this season. Making the sweet 16 after an 0-5 SEC start is absolutely incredible.

Maybe this’ll shut the “SEC was overrated” crowd up. Won’t hold my breath, though.

I tried to tell a few of those people that wanted to argue Cal was washed up and couldn't coach.
The guy has the most wins for an active coach in NCAAT history and sets at #5 all time for a reason. You never bet against a coach like that even if he has had a few underwhelming years in NCAA Post season.

The really great thing about him winning today is Kentucky fans are having a melt down.

Keeping RJ Luis on the bench was odd. VN would be going ballistic if Barnes did that.

And it was dumb. Probably wouldn't have mattered. But, it's not like the 5 guys he had on the floor could also shoot.

I said yesterday these two teams probably the most evenly matched so far. This Michigan/A&M is probably going to go back and forth all game.

Saint John’s has a young team that was going through growing pains in their first March Madness Tournament which along with only making 2 threes made it more likely to lose to Arkansas.

They aren’t young. Their top 5 scorers are 3 seniors and 2 juniors.
