The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

Had to kill a copperhead in the yard yesterday and used .22LR rat shot. I’ve had the same box for 15 years and noticed I was almost out. I could not find it anywhere, including the usual online ammo places. You can order it if off CCI website directly, it turns out, with a 10 to 15 day lead time to ship. Just an FYI in case someone finds themselves in need of some pest control ammo during these times of shortages.

My wife wants the 43x for her personal carry. It's a little small for my hand, but most of the LEO's I'm around use it for personal carry as well. I haven't found one for less than 549.

I work in sales on the road, and I still carry the Taurus g3c, which is a little bulkier than the 43x and fits my hand a little better. I've put around 300 rounds through this thing, and I've grown to love it. The $249 price tag helps a lot too... Guess I'll get her the Glock and just hang on to my Taurus for a while.

If there is a Dunham’s near you, maybe check them out.

My local Dunham’s has the 43x mos in stock for $529

At the first of the week Outpost Armory had a used 43x for $400 and a used 43x mos for $480. Both looked in perfect condition; however I would assume at that price they are most certainly gone now.

I've never seen a Dunham's, but I'll look. Thanks for the heads up..

Man I'm telling you I fell in love with that g3c. Same gun as the g2c with minor adjustments. I bought it to be what I call a bridge gun, meaning one I can carry but if I ever get in a situation where I have to toss it off a bridge I'm not out of a lot of money lol. It's quickly become one of my favorites.

I liked it enough that I went back and bought a full size g3. Love it as well. Basically the same gun with a longer barrel and slide. Not really concealable, but I don't need it to be.

Your feedback...hardshell or leather IWB...I like the security of hardshell but love the conceal ability of leather

Kydex for edc, and shooting/range time.

Leather for around the farm (mainly revolvers and 1911’s)

Plastic duty holsters for course work and SHTF

Drop leg nylon wrap or plastic for back yard operator play time

**general purpose** kydex all the way. They fit to your exact firearm, and to/with any accessories you may have. They really won’t print any more than your firearm prints. Their cheap, their safe and they work (safe if used properly).

Hard shell. More so after someone posted a pic of the dude shooting himself in the leg because the trigger caught on the leather.

understood although it is a basic tenet of IWB carry that you remove the holster from your waist before reholstering the firearm. people get lazy and/or complacent and then an accident happens.
