The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

Picked up these Tokarevs last week. The bottom one is made in Pakistan. What is the last Pakistani firearm we've seen here in the US? Kinda neat.
The other is a M70A in 9mm from Sastava, I have another just like it ordered in 7.62x25.

Budget priced pistols that offer decent performance for the money.

I'm a big fan of the Tokarev. Once had two, one for parts and the other for shooting. Both are Polish if memory serves. Anyway, if you can find the Wolf Gold hollow point line, grab a box while you can. It runs out quickly.

I'm missing the bulk cheap ammo like we used to get though.

Will do. I see privi partisan are the only other option for hollow points outside of hand rolling your own. Bummer.
I've always loved the round, light bullet moving at around 1600 fps is always cool.

The Zastava M57 9mm version is a very soft shooting little pistol. Very fun to shoot as well. At $229 what's not to like.

Remember when we could buy great surplus .308 for $150 for a 1000. I miss those days...

Prvi Partisan = Wolf Gold. Just different packing. Stay away from the Glazer Safety stuff. Runs like crap.

The 9mm Tok might be an issue mag wise. That's what made me hesitate on one a few years ago. I haven't checked in recent memory though.

Yeah, they come with two mags and offer other mags at around $30 each.

Zastava put a small plate in the mag well to fit the thinner 9mm mags. I put 100 rounds through mine yesterday with no issues. Winchester white box stuff, at 10-15 yards I was getting 3" to 4" groups. Not bad considering.
Would I recomend the Zastava Tokarev? Sure, at the price point you almost can't go wrong.
These are new manufacture btw.

The Pakistani one by Badar and Brothers is just a trip, the instruction manual is worth the price alone, poor translations and all. Only issue I had was, one of the mags wouldn't stay seated. I was really just shooting that one to check function, I probably won't be shooting that one again. Plus it bit the pizz out of me lol
I figure the pak might be like the polytechs now, as we could sever relations with Pakistan any time and the price will rise. It's interesting nonetheless.

Came to Gatlinburg for the weekend and went in the Buds in Sevierville. Almost bought a SCCY but they only had one in a nickel finish. Not a huge fan of nickel. Felt good and their warranty is fantastic. I may order one when I get home.

They're fun little cheapies.

You aren't going to win any competitions or anything, but for no more than they cost, they're good little guns.

It's a private party deal, so I wouldn't have to pay tax or a background check so it'd probably be about the same. I didn't see any online stores as cheap as what you posted tho, most were around $380-400.

Going to look it over before I commit to anything. The guy SAID less than 100 rounds through it, but I'd rather look it over myself first.

And I'd make sure the trigger was worked on if it falls into that range. There was a recall on them a while back.
