I need to get my military ID replaced. I lost my wallet a few years ago and never got it replaced.
I never really asked for military discounts anyway tho. I didn't join for so I could get a discount so I always kind of felt like a doucher. I'd be happy to use it in this situation tho haha.
Kind of meh at that price. I know that's MSRP on the site and all and it's likely around the $750 mark, but Springers run around $650 for the Mil-Spec models and a Colt 1991 at $750. So I'm wondering if the CZ really has anything to offer over them.
I wonder if they will be built by Dan Wesson or CZ. I'm partial to Colt and Les Baer 1911's myself, but I may pick one up just for kicks. Roll mark is really lame imo
They will have forged slides and frames. Much better than the cast SA parts imo. I wonder about internals, I suspect a lot of mim parts. Hoping to be suprised by the typical very high quality CZ products.
question for u guys/gals. Looking for a new semi auto shotgun. Sbe2 or a new model a5 were my final choices. Who has them, shot them or recommends either one or give me another suggestion to look into. Will be using for hunting(geese, pheasants, dove, ducks, possibly turkey, etc) and skeet shooting. Im new to the semi auto club having never owned one and was just lookinh for some other opinions beside what ive read as of late. Thanks

I've had no problems with a cast framed SR1911. I'm not going to win any match shooting awards with it but it is accurate enough and more importantly to me very simple to break down and extremely durable. While not a pure 1911, I do have a Colt defender in .45 that was intended to be a carry weapon but it's such a pain to put back together after field stripping for cleaning that I hardly shoot it. Of course there's all the usual issues with leaf springs as well. I like firearms that I can drop in a muddy creek, blow off and keep rocking and rolling.I wonder if they will be built by Dan Wesson or CZ. Well I just discovered this thread and read through it quickly. Interesting info. My carry is a Glock 36 which is a .45. Love it and would not trade it at all. I have been thinking of getting a Bersa Thunder .380 for summer ( shorts , light clothing ). I really have not checked that out thoroughly yet.
