Knew a guy growing up that hunted every year with a .32-20. Went out with only the rounds in the lever action and a revolver in the same caliber.

Here's a pretty well thought of option. The "old model" Vaquero's/Blackhawks are overbuilt and therefore a bit heavier than some but are practically indestructable.
