Embarrassing, Embarrassing, Embarrassing!!!!!!!! I have never seen anything like this! We have to inbound the ball 5 times, cause we could not make it to the FT Line prior to the final minutes in the game! We were 2-3 free throws for the ENTIRE GAME! Vandy was 4 times better at 8-12. Coach Barnes told the team not to shot any shots on the inbound & Phillips pulled up & didn't dunk it. That would have put us up by 4 points. Vescovi missed the FT, then Vescovi did something on the final play that he did all game, & all year. He would go to the free throw to guard the shooter who is at the corner 3 point line! It was a wide open uncontested shot! Our offense has to have more movement! Vandy's offense had a lot of movement in it , they set those picks & it kept them open! They attacked the rim! They made it to the FT line!

Vandy played way above themselves. That said, this Vol team has gone from elite level to below average in only two weeks. It's ok because I'll be on vacation about two weeks weeks whem the tourney starts and may or may not be able to watch. But, what could have been.....

Remember Michigan? They had a ton of injuries and a really disappointing season. Got healthy at the right time and had a nice finish. We can do the same.

It’s definitely possible, but I just don’t see a team with such consistent offensive woes flipping a switch. It seems like the teams that “click” in March are solid offensive/mediocre defensive teams who tighten up.

Word is out. Tn can’t play physical. When referees let them play Tn doesn do well. Barnes weakness is he la good man who won’t get in officials face. He also doesn’t like players getting too emotional with contact. Thus Plav loss of playing time

If you take this team over the last two weeks, I think it’s 3 losses with the possibility of 4.

Need to right this ship now before the team quits on the season and is just trying to get the season over. If they can do that, they’ve got a good chance of making a run in March. But there are so many questions and holes in this team right now, it’s going to be a slog to get things back.
