True but I only sit through Tennessee college baseball. I don't get excited about the Smokies.

I think that of all the Division 1 sports, baseball has the largest talent gap between the college sport and the pro sport since the talent pool is so heavily depleted by the minor league draft and so many kids sign out of high school. I like college baseball OK, but I never get used to the sound of metal bats.

Same... And knowing that only the absolute best guys on the best 10-20 teams will become recognizable guys in the bigs.

I hear that stadium the Smokies play at is really something. I'm going to try to come down there when the Mississippi Braves play there. Maybe Saltalamachia will still be there by then.

i live no where near atlanta. i hate the way these cable and satellite companies can give and take as they please.
