braves finally end that 4 game losing streak..Davies make his 1st career ML start and pitched a hell of a game..5 scoreless innings and picked up the win as Braves won 7-5. Bullpen didnt look that good. But the bats were out tonight!

Davies did pitch a heck of a game. I sure hope he can repeat that performance a few times until hampton gets back. The kid looked great!

Our bullpen stinks and Kolb isn't getting any better. Help please help.

what do ya'll think about the Braves calling the Reds and trying to get Danny Graves..

I'm sure they'll check with the Reds about Graves, but Danny Graves may be one of the most overrated pitchers in the game today. The dude hasn't been the same since they put him in the rotation a few years ago. If you look at his numbers this year, he has 10 saves, but he has actually been as shaky as Dan Kolb and is giving up an obscene number of baserunners . . . plus he flicked off the fans the other night . . . not good.

I was thinkin the same thing when i read it.. I think it'd be nice to have him come to the braves.

As long as the Braves win, I don't care if the score is 3-2, 10-0 or 14-12. Would prefer any of the first two-not the latter. Shutouts-like last night and 1-3 runs wins are fine with me. Great pitching and hitting-just what I like and not necessarily in that order. :thumbsup:

Davies pitched another great 5 innings tonight! struck out 6 and game up no runs..thats about all i remember..but braves won 3-0!!

Hope Davies is OK after taking that liner to the rib cage. He's had about as good a Major League debut as you can possibly have.
