I'd been in New Orleans a couple of weeks when I went out to play a round on the City Park course. Halfway through the back 9 I joined up with a guy. Hit my approach shot, replaced my divot, and the guy says, "You're not from here, are you?"

I'm thinking... huh?

Then he goes on and says, "You've got an accent. You're from up north."

"No, actually, I'm from Tennessee."

OH! You're from way up north!"

Maybe it was that time zone thing.
