Has any team ever won the title after losing its first game? You have to win game 1 or it's nearly
impossible to win the big taco.

Would much rather see TN win their first baseball title than FSU.

But of course I’m pulling for title number 2 for Florida. Kinda nice being the “Cinderella” team for a change.

JW is not perfect (no one is) but he calls a great game and a VFL when it is time to put put it in the WIN column... I think he has been doing this for about 27 years. Happy for him that he gets to be a huge part of this historic run.

What this kid has done to improve both at the plate and in the field since last season is phenomenal. The difference is night and day. Took a helluva lot of work to do what he's done. Amazing.

That 3rd base plinky liner with 2 strikes was a perfect example of his progress. That was a strike out 2 years ago.

After UGA closing series loss and poor Hoover performance, I thought Georgia should have been the 8 seed or not seeded at all. FSU should have been higher and I'm not sure why the committee made several of their decisions.

Florida State got screwed in this situation more than Tennessee. The Noles playing UT is bigger disadvantage than UT playing FSU.

We need to start looking at things like this. WE ARE THE BULLIES

This^ I love it, it seems we have a few with BVS and love to play the victim or the one that always gets left out or put in the corner. After a while it just gets nauseating.

The pairings and game times for the first two days of the 2024 NCAA Men’s College World Series (MCWS) have been announced.

The first game on Friday, June 14 is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Central time, and showcases No. 4 national seed North Carolina (47-14) against No. 12 national seed Virginia (46- 15) on ESPN. Friday’s second game features No. 1 national seed Tennessee (55-12) against No. 8 national seed Florida State (47-15) and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Central time on ESPN.

The Saturday, June 15 action includes No. 2 national seed Kentucky (45-14) against either No. 7 national seed Georgia (43-16 through June 9) or No. 10 national seed NC State (37- 21 through June 9) at 1 p.m. Central time on ESPN. The other Saturday game features No. 3 national seed Texas A&M (49-13) squaring off against Florida (34-28) at 6 p.m. Central time on ESPN.

The losing teams of Friday’s two games will play at 1 p.m. Central time Sunday, June 16 on ESPN, while Friday’s winners face off at 6 p.m. Central time Sunday, June 16 on ESPN2. Knew the game time would be 7:00 time slot. Not sure why it took so long to announce since they screwed over NC State by making them the early game on Saturday anyway as they were not going to pass on Florida (Team Cags) and A&M for the late game
