Can this site or anyone on this site agree and say they are tired of hearing about d@mn Gruden....the man is happy...we have a coach...lets support the man and get back to TN football...not stupid b!#%h sessions about who we didnt hire....GO BIG ORANGE and GO JONES...get us some recruits!!!!!!!

Sick of hearing about Gruden also people are stupid I support Jones and I'm a VFL I can't stand nega vols I read this **** every day about Gruden and what or who we are getting lets support our coaches and players return UT to the top were we belong!!! GO BIG ORANGE KICK SOME ASS:)

just not sold on the other coaches Auburn was horriable this year, and not sure why Jones is bringing his old staff, in-which 2 of them were fired by Georgia. not impressed yet...

I disagree....

If you plan to take the job the correct thing to do is tell your current employer you plan to leave before making public statements about the new job.

He is flying back to LA tuesday & we should hear something soon after that.

Now if he had no intention of taking the new job then there would be no reason not to say so publically now before flying back. The fact that he hasnt said one way or the other leads me to believe he is seriously considering it.

Did you guys not believe me when I said that the sec tonight crew was reporting that Tee was in contact with one of them and said he likes working for kiffen? There is bound to be someone else out there that also saw it. Anyway, I'm not saying he isn't comming but I am saying that if they were telling the truth then it doesn't look like he is comming. I don't like rumors any more than anyone else does and it is possible that they were saying it tongue in cheek. We as vol fans need to learn when to form an expectation and when to let things fall as they will. Sort of like (exactly like) learning to choose your battles. I just don't want to see a lot more negativism and possibly bashing a UT icon.

All you NON-coaches need to remember a few things such as a coaching staff is a TEAM and they must gel and function as a TEAM as much as the players have to do on the field.

Part of the problem that CDD had was not getting all his coaching pieces to function together as a solid TEAM.

CBJ has a good TEAM of coaches that have WON Conference Championships and already KNOW what he wants and how to get it done and he's adding some SEC experience to that coaching team which is a smart move IMO.

Besides good position coaches CBJ seems to also be focused on really good recruiters which is a big part of the reason for the coaching additions from allbarn because they are good position coaches but they're also known as proven recruiters with lots of good contacts at high schools all around the South.

Also remember that really good position coaches get promoted to Coordinator positions and are NOT good at that like CSS was a great linebacker coach but as a DC here he wasn't so good and that happens alot of times just like a OC or a DC becomes a Head Coach and is a failure as a HC when as a Coordinator he's great.

I like seeing CBJ bringing in really good position coaches that are also very good recruiters and have proven themselves to be great recruiters because without good recruiters we'll never catch up and compete toe to toe on the field.

I also like that CBJ isn't wasting any time on getting a staff together and is already starting to contact recruits to try and get a decent class together.

We shouldn't expect a great recruiting class this year because building those relationships takes time and our new coaches are just now starting that process so I won't overexpect but I look forward to seeing who we can reel in in such a short time.

I think things are looking very good so far so lets all unite and support all our new Vols coaches.

Didn't hear that, but saying you like working for someone and saying you're committed to working for them are clearly different statements. Not saying Tee is coming or not. Just clarifying.

EA saying that Tee reached out to Dooley and Hart when he was at KY asking to come to UT to coach. He didn't even get a call back from either. Then Kiffin gave him a job at USCw. Now if you were Tee, how would you feel about how you had been treated? I think we got J Graham instead, but, never a call back... at least he should have gotten a call back?wtf

Well, thats one of the reasons why people hated Dooley. At least those that did.

Good that he's gone.
I think the first thing CBJ did was give Tee an offer. So that should compensate for what Dooley n Company did to him.

So have all of these listed here been finalized? I haven't seen anything definitive on Jancek as DC (I assume he's going to be it) and of course there's the Tee situation and the GAs, but is this pretty much the staff right here?
