Hubbs said he doesn't plan to be in NC long and is interested in the job. If Gruden doesn't come, we better offer immediately.

Fedora can recruit the SEC. Patterson is a good coach, but I don't think he has what it takes on the recruiting trail. Fedora did a great job at Florida. He is a player's coach, a brilliant offensive mind, and if you pair him with the assistants that UT can bring in under a new coach then watch out.

He's not leaving UNC.

I think it would be a great hire, but he's not leaving UNC after one year. He has a good thing going there once they get past the NCAA stuff.

I am not sure as an up and coming coach I would want my career/resume to be one where I am down 15-20 ships a year. If your going 8-4 with a full roster and sanctions not taken hold yet, it will only get worse. Recruiting will suffer in a big way at UNC for the next 3-4 years. Fedora may ride it out, I don't think it's a smart career move IMO.

I am almost looking forward more to the idea of Hart allowing any coach he hires to spend 3.5-4 million for a staff. If he does, the HC does not matter near as much. Give me just about any coach with an OC/DDC in the million dollar range and we are a much better team on the field.

Fedora is the OC and a monster one at that. Throw the bank at a DC and staf. Hire Tee, keep Graham, keep Pittman, and move Hinshaw to QB coach. That frees up a load of money to hire an all star defensive staff.

Some very interesting salaries on the UNC coaching staff. IF Fedora is looking to bail with the sanctions coming, we could afford to sweeten the deal quite a bit I would think.

Fedora make 2.13 million which included a 1 time 400,000.00 bonus due a month after he took the job.

Blake Anderson OC, 250,000.00 (Ours makes 675,000)

Dan Disch DC, 250,0000.00 (Ours makes 800,000)

Vic Koenning (Defensive Specialist), 250,000.00

Deke Adams DL, 185,000.00

David Duggan LB's/ST 185,000.00

Randy Jordan RB's 185,000.00

Passing game coordinator/receivers coach Gunter Brewer: $175,000.

Head strength and conditioning coach Lou Hernandez: 140,000.

Tight ends coach Walt Bell makes 80,000.00

Makes me nervous how bad USM did this year with his players. Ellis Johnson can't be that bad of a head coach.

They returned 13 starters. Ellis is old school SEC taking over Fedora's high octane offensive system. Not a good fit.
