Hey, we outscored them 20-18 over weekend. That’s “something” encouraging. Clean up the “bumbles” and we’ll be a’ight!

20 ER to 10 ER. Tennessee pitching depth is absolutely insane. June is going to be a fun month for the VOLS.

It wasn’t too bad. Impressive clutch performance by Kirby. I still don’t understand pulling him for a righty against Morgan…… It worked out though so maybe I should STFU.

I stated earlier, I believe it was either on here, twitter or FB, that if we come out of the next 4 weeks 6-6, we have accomplished something. We are on track for that. I never expected us to win the series against LSU, but to avoid the sweep and play like we actually belonged on the field with them, that was great. We should've actually won the series if we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot with errors.

Glad to see the boys regroup and play well today. This series pretty easily could’ve been 2-1 for us but that’s the way it goes. We’ve got to get better on defense.

Honest opinion from this weekend:

LSU did nothing to prove to me this weekend we do not belong on the same field as them. We were pretty much even with them the first 2 games. HOWEVER, we made costly mistakes obviously which came back to bite us. I think we "lost" the first 2 games rather than LSU "winning" those games. Our boys went into a tough environment with the best team college baseball can buy and besides a few plays, played great.

Unpopular opinion: I feel better about this team after the weekend than I did coming into the weekend.

I’ve been saying we are a bad baseball team all season
