The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

My early thoughts toward next week but if we throw it 40 times against LA they're going to run us. Bosa will have a field day against this O line.

The Titans register a week 1 one-point loss and you’re already discussing throwing in the towel on the season. Well done, sir!

Does seem like a bit of over reaction by Titan fans. You guys still could have won.

Other teams are in worse shape. My Pittsburgh Steelers are the Vandy of the NFL.

It was the Saints, they aren't a very good team. We could have won...... But it's the way we looked.

O line is actually worse after 1 game than they looked last year.

Tannehill looks slow.... I'm not sure how much blame I can put on him for some of the throws but he was of on others he should have made.

Receivers including TE's did not get separation, when they did they missed plays as well.

The entire offense looked out of sync, it looked like we were forcing things to some players that just wasn't there.

Nothing looked smooth.

It was just one game and they could improve.....

I said it last year and I'll say it again this year..... Breaking camp with that group as your o line should get you fired.

I didn't get to watch the Steelers.

Yesterday was master class in Titans football.

Everything about that game is exactly how Vrabel wants the game to go. He’d probably even say it was a perfect game besides the ints. He wants a grind it out and eek out a win kinda game. He’s fine with settling for field goals instead of touchdowns. He’s fine with everything about this game other than the final score. That game really was peak Titans football.

This has been Titans philosophy since at least the Fisher days. He’s a run first guy, defensively minded coach and always will be. OC doesn’t matter. Because it’s been relatively the same since he’s been here.

I've been saying the same for years.

We have possibly the worst WRs and worst oline in the nfl.

We definitely do not have the worst wide receivers and o line this year so I’m tired of the excuses for how tannehill played. He single handedly cost us the game. In my book, that is strike 1 and he gets two more bad games to figure it out before he takes a seat on the bench.

Our WRs and offensive line are god awful. Bottom 5 at best.

Our o line is one of of not the worst. Our big free agent get was a guy that struggles with power and another guy that we kicked off the team because he was a lose cannon. We are undersized and under talented.

Our wr group is bottom third of league at best, even when healthy.

I missed that story. Who got kicked off?

The titans o line is definitely in the bottom 3.

About time they moved on from Tannehill.. Not going to be a good year anyway. They tried to force it to Hopkins way too much.
