Something to think about... I would imagine Butler is a free agent looking for a suiter and wouldn't be surprised to see the Titans make a move

He only had a 1-year contract with the Patriots this season, so yeah, he most likely was going to be a free agent this offseason.

Would be nice to get him, that way we could focus on the DLine, some offensive line deph, and A solid RB. I’m wondering if somethings wrong with him health wise though? They said he wasn’t benched for disciplinary reasons.

Being reported that it was a combination of him being sick, rough week of practice, and a minor team rules violation.

Cousins had nobody of note to throw to this past season that fit his style. When Garcon and Jackson left his production went down. So he wins by leaving and going to his choice, which will probably be to a team with at least a decent O-line and WR's.

Smith wins because KC was through with him and the Skins extended his career. Being a very conservative game manager with some mobility fits Gruden's style, even if Smith will never take them anywhere. Cousins is quick and accurate, which Smith is not. Skins are fine at TE, and have one good upside receiver IMO in Doctson, who may fit his style as a go to possession type WR. But they have no burners on the outside like Smith had at KC in Hill. So teams are just going to pack it in.

Its absolutely insane that KC just dumped him like that. He was far from being the problem for them. Andy Reid will live and die on Mahomes now.

Agree. Reid has been a good developer of talent, but just OK with the other stuff. Getting Fuller will help their D, but I cannot see Mahomes being ready for what's about to hit him. Just can't see it. Smith's decision-making kept them in games and that is gone.

So getting back to the Titans. The Redskins/Chiefs trade affects the Titans since Washington traded a starting d-back in Fuller, will now need to draft a replacement, and they also draft before us. We need a quality d-back to improve the secondary's performance.

Could have easily been us, but thankfully we went in a different direction.

McDaniels is an ass clown. Even his agent basically said this was a douchebag move. He better hope it works out in New England, because he just squashed whatever good repertoire he had around the league.

I wish nothing but the worst for the Colts, but this is just an awful situation for them. Already signed 3 assistants who were expected to work under McDaniels, including a DC, who I guess will now be forced on the new hire? Sheesh.

If I was them I'd make a hard run at one of the Philly assistants, but that job might be a hard sell at this point.

I broke my sternum around the same time he broke his.

I am proud that I was able to continue my match, but I spent a couple weeks afterwards in too much pain to even breathe.

He acted like it was hangnail.

I'm so glad I could watch Favre and McNair play. They will go down as my two all-time favorite QBs to play the game simply due to their combined toughness.
