Looks like Scott ***hs is joining as an assistant o-line under Bill C. Comes from Kansas and Buffalo under Leipold. Must be the intended replacement for Bill when he retires. Has 30 years college experience.

🤣 at the name edit. That IS HIS NAME - F*U*C*H*S.

I read this as Will Levis is a Flop.......and I was like sure we know this lol
I'm saying this now............Levis is going to be a really good NFL QB.
Get him some protection and another weapon on the outside, and he will light it up.

hated him in college, but I'm a full supporter now!

Agreed with this. The arm talent and physical tools are all there. But he still has to put it all together mentally. And obviously still needs a better line and some additional weapons besides Hopkins, as you pointed out.

I just hope he and Callahan are a good fit. That to me is the biggest factor that will determine his success.

I am not saying he will be as good...............but he could be Brett Farveish good.

I agree on Levis. I doubt I can ever get on his train, his personality grates on me. But if he can get over himself and his own BS with the help of Brian the staff, he could be good enough to get it done. Dude needs to learn play within his abilities and worry less about being a "leader" and more about doing his job the right way. Be a professional.

Whatever it takes for them to win a SB works for me.

Hell, his personality is part of the reason I think he’ll end up being good. It might come across as cocky, but the team feeds off that confidence. I don’t think we win that game in Miami without it.

But I agree he doesn’t need to fall into the trap of always being the hero, as so many gunslinger types do. He could just as easily end up being another Jay Cutler by trying to be a Brett Favre.

If I was Callahan I’d have Levis watch the tape of Mahomes from last Sunday all offseason. That was a masterclass in taking what the defense gave and letting the game come to him.

That is exactly what I am talking about as being a "professional". Mahomes never had to tell everybody he was the leader or act out during his career. Just do your job and be creative as needed. It will naturally happen.

I'm not as sure as some here about Levis. He showed some promise. Hell everything you are attributing to him as strengths are the same things we all heard pre draft. And as Tennessee fans almost all were skeptical. He's going to have to show me.

Based on post draft reactions in this thread, he’s already overachieved the expectations of most on here.

But I don’t think there’s ever been a QB after 1 season who you knew was going to be elite. He needs weapons. He needs linemen. Then we will see. Hopefully we are aggressive enough between free agency and the draft, so that we can find out his abilities sooner rather than later

Agree with both of these. No idea if Levis is it or not. But you have to give him the tools to succeed. I would go all out in FA and the draft to get him the supporting cast he needs. The sooner you know if you have a franchise QB the better, as it's the only real path to a SB. The defense can wait jmo.

Agree - O first and foremost. There's still enough cap space to help the D a little along with the draft. The O needs a real line and a couple of playmakers to get competitive and see what they have with Leivis.

But I am all over taking Bowers subject to getting good FA takes on the O-line. That dude is special and this generation's Kelce - a QB's best friend.

If you could get Bowers, Tee, best OL in 2nd round, big FA OL, and Burks could pretend to be a former first rounder, we would be looking great.

I don't think Bowers is going to be as good as some think. I've been wrong before though. I wouldn't pick him in the top half of the first, we'd have to trade back in order get value with that pick IMO

I actually don't disagree with you (I prefer Alt over everyone) but if Bowers is where the Titans went I'd trust they think he's elite. Seeing the final 4 teams in the NFL having the 4 best TEs in Kittle, Kelce, Andrews, and LaPorta did get me thinking maybe an elite TE is a game (franchise?) changing factor. This is a huge off-season for the Titans future. Gotta nail it.

Among fans, I think there's still a healthy amount of skepticism for Levis. I mean I'm relatively high on him, but even someone like me knows he still has a lot to prove. I do like his physical tools, and I do like the fact that he already has 9 games of playing at NFL speed under his belt, but he's not even close to having shown he's "the guy". It will take a very solid 2024 and possibly 2025 to confirm that. We sat through VY, Locker, and Mariota. Titans fans know how "promise" works.
