The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Schefter tweeted today that Nashville is in all likelihood going to get the 2019 draft, in case they don't, is all but assured the 20202 draft. Me and my dad are draft geeks so we'll be there, maybe we should do a Titan meet up for the draft?

Will the town even be called Nashville?

I knew Nashville would be a top choice. So many things to do, see, and an amazing atmosphere. That’ll be the time the preds are playing too, which will add excitement.

Hopefully this draft proves to be as good or better than the 2016 Jags draft. They were in an eerily similar position with only 3 picks, but they nailed all 3 (Ramsey, Myles Jack, Ngakoue).

Are the Titans expected to be up for sale soon?

Two sides to $2.2 billion Panthers sale. Lower than expected price suggests teams that are next — like Tennessee Titans — might go for lower than expected. Lower than expected price doesn’t factor in yesterday’s sports gambling decision. Will be baked into next deal.

That will be pretty tough to do around the Predators games if they make the playoffs.

They could have it at a place like the Opry House or The Ryman. When it was in Chicago they had it at the Audtiorium Theatre, and it has a capacity of about 3800. I'm not sure The Ryman is big enough though, it only seats about 2400 for concerts and it's not all that big inside.

The Opry House seats 4000 and has the whole hotel area around it, but the downside is it's not downtown.

I think the plan is to have the “draft theater” at Ascend Amphitheatre or whatever it’s called, with some stuff at LP Field too. Or at least that was the Nashville proposal that the NFL can modify
