If there's one thing I've learned from Muschump/DrunkJohnny is that he thrives on conflict, negativity, and being a contrarian. I shouldn't have responded to his earlier post and take full responsibility for the consequences.

Justin, whatever man. Congrats on your season.

I asked a serious question, not sure why you can't answer it. I have read many other posts saying the same thing as you, I was just wanting some reasoning behind that thought. I can see you are a bit bitter today.

I'm not going to speak for "Muschump" but the only thing I thrive on is winning football games. At the very least, I expect to watch a competent football team at the professional level. I know you like to pump sunshine, but I call a turd a turd.

Go ahead and take the "high road," and excuse the most pathetic play calling I've seen all year, including the Kentucky game. Are you serious dude? A draw play with less than a minute left and no time outs? You're "fine" with that? You don't give a **** about winning, just being close enough to win. Congrats. You talking **** about the Colts is laughable.

Justin, what do I need to explain? It's likely the Ravens beat the Bengals. The Texans/Titans game is far less certain, but a Titans win is possible there. If this happens (coupled with a Jets loss), and the Titans win out, there's the 6th seed. There's the possible scenario. Any scenario outlined is not a certainty. It's only a possibility. If the Bengals win out, the Titans are out of the picture.

I mean, what more needs to be explained about it? You were trying to take a dig, so I responded in kind.

 I wish I lived in your world.

Anything is possible, but my point was. You think the Ravens beat the Bengals at that's very possible. But the Texans will be fighting for a possible first round bye so I don't think they will rest anyone. This is the team that came into your place and destroyed you, and know you think you are going to go there and beat them? Plus the Jags already beat you all once also so I am not convinced the Titans win out.

Watch us lose to Jacksonville, lol.

This is true...The team is really banged up and coming off an emotional game. I wouldn't call the next two games forgone conclusions, even if it is against teams with a combined 4 wins (0-13 and 4-9). I wouldn't be surprised if there was a letdown this week. Don't think it'll happen, but we'll see.

Just need to enjoy every week.

That 13 for 29 stat keeps sitting in the back of my head...

That's fine, but that pass to Craig Stevens and the two to Nate stick in mine. From our angle in the stands, the pass to Stevens and TD pass to Nate couldn't have been more perfect. Plus, he came off the bench cold. Let's not judge one game's stats. His play, with the exception of the final play, was outstanding. And maybe it was just luck, but he didn't throw any INTs.

It's going to take a much larger sample size for me to become concerned about his long-term accuracy prospects. The knock coming out of college was accuracy, but other than the statline, I'm not concerned right now.

Wow...The Chiefs fire Todd Haley.

I'm surprised. I thought he did a good job considering the circumstances this year.

...and there's this:

The news surrounding RB Javon Ringer doesn't sound promising. Hearing he has a broken hand, a season ender. More Xrays sked for today#Titans

Jamie Harper gets his big chance. Need to sign a back for special teams now.

Not ideal but it was only his second game. As long as he can keep drives alive, I'm okay with him completing 50% if every other throw is a first down :)

107.3 passer rating against the Falcons and 91.5 passer rating against the Saints.

Hopefully his completion percentage will go up to 55%(preferably 60%) at least but for now, I like that he is making plays. Minus with the game on the line of course.

Also, he's playing with Nate Washington and Damian Williams. They'd be slot receivers on a lot of teams. Definitely not number one. I like them both though. Will be interesting to see how Locker looks after progressing over time and getting Britt back.

My only issue with it was - I'm glad how he performed - however so much was said about accuracy/completion percentage was supposed to be such an issue that it could hinder his career later

Granted it's only 2 games his rookie year so there's still plenty of learning and plenty chance for improvement, however between the falcons and saints games he's putting up back to back 47%-44% completion games.

I'm finding some comfort in that McNair put up 48%-46% in rookie games, but dunno, feels a little bit worrisome if it turns out to be a continuing trend

Thanks for the post. I respect your opinion. Although I disagree with you, you're reasoned and back up what you say with figures.

And thanks for the posts regarding three-way ties. So, if I'm reading this correctly, there are multiple scenarios where the Titans can gain the 6th seed.

1.) Better record than the Bengals and head-to-head vs the Jets.
2.) Three-way tie w/Bengals and Jets
3.) Outright

#3 is, by far, the least likely. But the other two seem very plausible. The Titans still have to take care of their own business, but the chances of making the playoffs if they do are very realistic.

Very excited to see Locker in his first start vs the Colts, and hope Jamie Harper fills in well for Javon Ringer. Don't forget Karl Klug had a field day against the Colts last time.

Jets have 5 AFC losses, also.

Our best chance of getting in is a NYJ loss to the Giants in week 16, although Miami is no longer considered a pushover in week 17, and being that they're division rivals, I'm sure Miami will be looking to play spoiler.

Philly is still dangerous, too, especially with a healthy Vick.

In his press conference, Munch said Hasselbeck's injury is more mild than they thought and has a chance to play Sunday. Said he'll start if healthy and is the team's starting QB.

Akeem Ayers is getting an MRI, but his injury is believed to be minor.
