Not sure if you follow the thread, but we've been discussing that for a couple of days. Still, it's hard for me to imagine a scenario where any of this turns out to actually benefit us.

I can:

Both teams board their buses and drive to nearest fairly large military base

All busses drive on to waiting C-130

C-130 flies to the nearest military air base in Omaha, NE

Drive to Charles Schwab Field Omaha and play game on Tuesday.

Losing team drives home Wednesday, winning team already in Omaha, so it saved them being overly tired/stiff from long drive.

Also, it gives good readiness training to the people who always have to be ready to be wheels-up on short notice, so it's not a TOTAL waste of tax paper money.

I can imagine a LOT (obviously), but there you go, the above would benefit us.

I’m amused at the thought that a C-130 ride would be more comfortable than a bus ride.

Push back start is better than beam getting 2 innings then shut down for 90 minute delay .. while this stinks, once we get going there shouldn't be any delays.
