Ya, i felt really bad for her, and you could tell she is blaming herself for the silver placement. And yes, she is attractive. I wonder what shawn johnson will look like when she is a little older :good!:

watched the US lose in soccer this morning to Nigeria in a rough game. Red card 3 min in so they played down a man all game. Made a great push with 7-8min left but couldn't find the luck. If they'd just held 1 more minute vs the Netherlands...

PJ, doozer and any soccer fans on here that I'm forgetting.

I'm watching Brazil dominate China 3-0 with about 15 minutes to go and the announcers are complaining that the way Brazil is playing, specifically Ronaldinho, can not win the gold. What am I missing? Even with the best soccer player in the world not playing that well, it seems that they have totally dominated this game. Is China just that bad?

I haven't seen China play but they're not a traditional power. I'm guessing their comments have more to do with the Brazilians playing sloppy (which can happen with their style) than with their opponent. How many loose balls are they winning, how crisp is their passing, how many shots on frame, are they trying too much 1v1? I can't see the game but that's what I would imagine is happening.

Talk about an advertising campaign that looked silly after the fact. Those "Dan and Dave" commercials hyped them well beyond their eventual performance.

Horrible, wish that guy luck. That will take some pretty aggressive rehab before he is right again.

their passing looked really good, but I would say they were trying a lot of 1v1. I also felt they were just trying to be pretty plain and take the win, get out without too much work. But even then, I still thought they looked more solid around the goal than Argentina did against the Aussies.

probably because men's gymnastics just isn't nearly as exciting as women's. For me at least. And the reasoning isn't as simple as most may think, for me at least.

I went over to a friend's house and watched a western and drank some enormously good whiskey. Did I miss anything? How many more medals did Michael Phelps win?
