Thankfully no. Our property slopes down to it (I’d say 30-40 ft) and a good distance from the house.

Looking like almost all heavy rain is gonna by pass us. I might not be mopping after all. just the puddles from unidentified leak.

might have got all worked up for nothing. But we've had like 3-4 hours storms that gave us several inches in basement.

Well for my basement today has been surprisingly anti climatic. Really expected us to get more rain come morning, but it hasn't even rained hard here. I am quite pleased. prob will take the day I thought i'd be cleaning up, and help dad with mom instead.....basement is mostly dry except that trickle that we had right away and I think that is from the plumbing vent...prob needs new flashing or something. Feel bad for everyone having to deal with this mess though. Cleaning up water sucks.
