The Patriot Party (Trump considering creating a 3rd Party)

Dims are the cobbled together party of low intellect and highly intelligent dreamers. The same groups that communism has duped time and again into believing the dream. Their lack of rational thought to guide them through the process has always led them into a life of abject socialist misery. Dims will absolutely remain part of the collective; they've always been the beneficiaries of third party schemes. If Bernie didn't split them, they aren't going to be divided - just that simple because they understand the power of a mob.

Power of a mob? Haha
Maybe just democracy?

The pandemic and dem governors/mayors shutting down their states and cities had nothing to do with it.

Trump got rid of the pandemic team on the National Security Council that Obama had created. Then when covid-19 erupted, he mismanaged the pandemic in the critical early days by telling lies, saying that covid-19 was under control, that it was a Democratic hoax, that it would just go away. Later, top administration officials spoke about allowing the disease to spread in order to achieve herd immunity. Trump resisted wearing a mask and personally sponsored numerous super spreader events. I could go on and on about his failures to manage the crisis. Sure, covid-19 caused tremendous economic damage. That's one of the consequences of his mismanaging the pandemic. Another consequence is 400,000 dead and counting. It was always crazy to think that allowing the disease to run rampant would not have crushing effects on the economy.

Not much difference between mob rule and democracy - one is supposedly better managed - the reason we were never a democracy. Have to give your side credit for trying to undo that and make it mob rule though - your summer of dancing in the streets didn't help the process along much with the opposition.

You gonna let this slide @1972 Grad ?

You're considering yourself to be an intellectual or an elitist?

I didn't say anything about being elite.

In certain circles I would be considered a intellectual and no so much in other circles.

You seem intimidated by intellectuals for no reason. All you need to do is read some actual books about Government, The Constitution, federalist papers and some supreme court rulings then apply the knowledge.

I am aware you didn't say anything about being an elitist in your first response. I asked if you were one or the other.

First of all I don't have time for Facebook. It's bad when you have to fact check fact checkers. Below are facts

Ku Klux Klan

Founded in 1865, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for Black Americans. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and Black Republican leaders

1865December 24
KKK founded
In Pulaski, Tennessee, a group of Confederate veterans convenes to form a secret society that they christen the “Ku Klux Klan.” The KKK rapidly grew from a secret social fraternity to a paramilitary force bent on reversing the federal government’s progressive Reconstruction Era-activities in the South, especially policies that elevated the rights of the local African American population.

The name of the Ku Klux Klan was derived from the Greek word kyklos, meaning “circle,” and the Scottish-Gaelic word “clan,” which was probably chosen for the sake of alliteration. Under a platform of philosophized white racial superiority, the group employed violence as a means of pushing back Reconstruction and its enfranchisement of African Americans. Former Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest was the KKK’s first grand wizard; in 1869, he unsuccessfully tried to disband it after he grew critical of the Klan’s excessive violence.

KKK founded

Most prominent in counties where the races were relatively equal in number, the KKK engaged in terrorist raids against African Americans and white Republicans at night, employing intimidation, destruction of property, assault, and murder to achieve its aims and influence upcoming elections. In a few Southern states, Republicans organized militia units to break up the Klan. In 1871, the Ku Klux Act passed Congress, authorizing President Ulysses S. Grant to use military force to suppress the KKK. The Ku Klux Act resulted in nine South Carolina counties being placed under martial law and thousands of arrests. In 1882, the U.S. Supreme Court declared the Ku Klux Act unconstitutional, but by that time Reconstruction had ended and the KKK receded for the time being.
