The US and Russia would not go to war over just Syria.

It's the collateral that could come from a US attack on Syria that could lead to a much bigger war.

Is that simple enough for you? Or do you need pictures?

Don't know why Kerry is giving the speech for acting instead of the POTUS but.

His speech gives the impression they will go after Assad not just the weapons.

This is an issue the US should back away from. There is no good outcome here with military intervention. There is only bad and worse.

Syria and the rebels aren't going to hug it out. China and Russia aren't going to see it our way. One missile or a full scale invasion, the outcome will not be favorable. Only degrees of bad.

It most likely will spread to regional conflict. It wouldn't be hard to turn this into a world war when taking into consideration the alliances. Al Qaeda will probably try to drag Russia and china into the fight if they can.

Who cares. They are killing themselves..isn't that the whole idea? I mean they fight amongst themselves, and we sit back and pound brewskies and eat terrible food while watching 12+ hours of college football. Win - Win for America.
