I believe I was the one that said that, and it was about as accurate as your assertion that the Heat would sweep the Mavericks. Worst case, we are even.

Damn, the thread I linked said NBA championship, I just looked at my first post and assumed it was about the Finals due to the thread title. Well, I never said it would be a sweep.

I would hope all the "Masset is a potential replacement for Cordero in '12" idiocy has finally been permanently squelched. If Cairo starts another game ahead of Frazier, Baker should be forced to return his salary.

Because W-L record is obviously the best indicator of a pitcher's ability. Lyles is 20 years old, a 4.41 ERA isn't awful for someone of that age.

Had it been J.A. Happ, then it would be unforgivable.

I don't give a damn if he's 12 or 45. He hasn't beaten anyone and should be in AA right now. You lose to him and it's time for heads to roll.

What the Hell does his age have to do with anything? Do runs against a 20 year old get some sort of age discount? He's winless in 11 starts with an ERA well over 4. It's a disgraceful loss. Period.

Well, it's his first year in the bigs. For 99.99% of all players, there's an adjustment period.

So what? Right now he's a bad major league pitcher backed by an utterly terrible team. The Reds lost to him. They should be forced to ride a bus to Chicago.

Maybe losing 2 of three to the worst team in the majors is all it will take to make Dusty play Yonder and Frazier the rest of the year. What a pathetic showing.

Dusty won't do a thing until we are mathematically eliminated. If he isn't gone at the end of the season, I am taking next year off.

Well one of you all talked about Alonso being bad in left field. You was right. He is awful out there. Campana hit what should have been a double to left, and ended up with an inside the park HR. He never got a glove on it.

Saw it, he misplayed it for sure, but he has never played in that park and the ball tends to take weird kicks there. Hard to fault him too much.
