4.5 miles on a paved lake trail. Now have a blister but I think the natural beauty at the lake made it worth it.

Shower water hit the bloody hole left and I damn near passed out.

Winter spoils us. No humidity and limited sweat. Forget what 60 and swamp style muggy does to me.

I've got the same problem. I've come back from long runs with a bloody shirts and the shower intensifies the sting. This is why I put on band aids when I anything over six miles.

Body glide doesn't cut it. At least for me it doesn't.

I have to run without a shirt in the summer time because mine have been known to bleed from my shirt rubbing them raw. Getting in the shower afterwards burns like heck.

I have to use the actual band larger band aids. Smaller band aids and those little piece of crap they sell to runners never worked due to sweating.

Being winter, I haven't had to do anything yet. Today was first time this year. I typically just use aquafor. Rarely matters unless I'm wearing layers. Extra weight of the vest and it bouncing caused the problem.

The sting after running a half marathon without any nipple precautions is something I don't ever want to go through again.

I do now. But the first time you go through it, you learn from it.
