The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump

Uhhh... WTF am I reading here?

'I vet them no different than I vet a terrorist': how the US tracked and blackmailed journalists

An investigation has shed light on how journalists were vetted and threatened by a customs agent supposedly looking into forced labor, but actually seeking leaks related to President Trump and his alleged collusion with Russia.

It was almost 10pm on a Thursday night, and Ali Watkins was walking around the capital following instructions texted by a stranger. One message instructed her to walk through an abandoned parking lot near Washington, DC’s Dupont Circle, and then wait at a laundromat. Then came a final cryptic instruction: She was to enter an unmarked door on Connecticut Avenue leading to a hidden bar.

The Sheppard, an upscale speakeasy, was so dimly lit it was sometimes hard to see the menu, let alone a stranger at the bar. But amid the red velvet upholstery, Watkins, then a reporter at Politico, almost immediately spotted the man she was supposed to meet: He was wearing a corduroy blazer and jeans and had a distinctive gap between his teeth.

“‘I won’t tell you my name, but I work for the US government,’ he said, according to her account later provided to government investigators.

John Durham says DOJ watchdog slow to hand over info on Alfa Bank investigation

Special Counsel John Durham suggested the Justice Department’s watchdog sat on key information about debunked Trump-Russia collusion claims, including a critical 2017 meeting it held with a defendant but only disclosed earlier this month.

The defendant, former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, is under indictment for allegedly lying to an FBI official in 2016 while pushing debunked claims of secret communications between a Russian bank and the Trump Organization.

But in a Tuesday court filing, Durham said he only learned a week ago that Sussmann had a subsequent meeting in March of 2017 with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who conducted his own investigation into Trump-Russia matters, including claims about former President Donald Trump and Alfa Bank.

"The OIG had not previously informed the Special Counsel’s Office of this meeting with the defendant," Durham's team said in the filing.

Durham’s team had met with Horowitz in October and followed up with a discovery request for information relevant to its inquiry of the Russia investigation origins. Horowitz provided transcripts of interviews his office had conducted, including a report about a "cyber-related matter" Sussmann brought to the inspector general's attention in early 2017.

MSNBC's Chris Hayes Mocked for False Claim that Trump received Illegal UAE Donations When It Was Clinton

One user wrote, 'Um, these were donations...to Hillary'

MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes was mocked on Twitter for spreading disinformation about donations during the 2016 presidential election.

On Monday, a D.C. federal court unsealed several documents regarding a search warrant into several individuals from the United Arab Emirates. Detroit News reporter Robert Snell posted two images from the documents that revealed evidence of individuals Ahmad "Andy" Khawaja and George Nader funneling funds from the UAE to the 2016 presidential election.

While Hayes assumed a connection between the illegal donation and former President Trump, older documents suggested otherwise. In 2019, Khawaja and Nader were previously indicted on attempting to funnel more than $3 million in illegal foreign campaign contributions to the 2016 election. While the indictment did not list the candidate by name, campaign finance records indicated that the recipient was Hillary Clinton.

Durham probe: Judge Denies Sussmann Motion to Dismiss case; Trial to Begin Next Month

The trial for former Clinton Campaign Lawyer Michael Sussman is set to Begin on May 16

The federal judge presiding over the case of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann denied his request to dismiss the case brought against him by Special Counsel John Durham Wednesday, ordering that the trial go forward as planned next month.

Sussmann, in February, filed a motion to dismiss the case against him. Sussmann was charged with making a false statement to a federal agent, and has pleaded not guilty.

In a court filing Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper outlined the charges against Sussmann brought by the Durham impaneled grand jury last year.

Cooper detailed Durham's indictment, which alleges that Sussmann told then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in September 2016, less than two months before the 2016 presidential election, that he was not doing work "for any client" when he requested and held a meeting in which he presented "purported data and 'white papers' that allegedly demonstrated a covert communications channel" between the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin.

"Specifically, Sussmann allegedly told Baker that he was not attending the meeting on behalf of any client when, in fact, he had assembled and was conveying the information on behalf of two specific clients: (1) a technology-industry executive named Rodney Joffe and (2) the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign," Cooper wrote.

Poor Joy Reid - if he's found guilty it will be on inconsequential actions and thus purely political; if found innocent it will be another white man getting off

More interesting information about the case from Durham's court filings.

Durham writes of ‘spoofed’ data, Clinton ‘conspiracy’

Geez ...

If all of that is accurate, which certainly seems to be the case.

1) Why is Joffe (at the very least) not already under indictment and facing trial ?

2) I hope David Martin is under 24 hour reliable protection.

3) How could anyone have any confidence and/or trust in our corrupt intelligence agencies as they stand today ?

4) A bunch of people need to be in prison ASAP

CTH begins every outline of the ongoing Durham investigation with the following disclaimer: How is John Durham going to reveal everything that is possible about the deep state Trump targeting operation, and simultaneously handle the involvement of Robert Mueller, Andrew Weissmann and the Special Counsel team who were specifically appointed to cover it up?

Durham Says CIA Found Data alleging Trump-Russia Connection Not 'technically plausible,' was 'user created'

Durham says he will seek immunity for a Fusion GPS employee during the trial of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann

Special Counsel John Durham asserted in a court filing Friday that the CIA concluded data from Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann alleging coordination between Donald Trump and Russia was "not technically plausible" and was "user created."

In the filing, Durham responded to objections from Sussmann’s defense regarding what evidence could be admissible at Sussmann's trial, which is scheduled to begin next month. Sussmann is accused of lying to the FBI by saying he was not attending a meeting on behalf of a particular client when he was actually presenting the information on behalf of the HIllary Clinton campaign and a technology executive with whom he worked.

Durham in February first revealed that the government would establish during trial that among the data "exploited" was domain name system (DNS) internet traffic pertaining to "a particular healthcare provider, Trump Tower, Donald Trump's Central Park West apartment building, and the Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP)."

Durham also alleges that Sussmann in February 2017 provided an "updated set of allegations," including the Alfa Bank claims, and additional allegations related to Trump to a second U.S. government agency, which Fox News has confirmed was the CIA.

Things like this would gain more traction but for the boy who cried wolf syndrome. Seen so many misleading right wing blogs etc on this. Just no more credibility.

And "Russia got trump elected" has credibility? 🤣

I've said many times we DO know they interfered to help him. We DON'T know how to measure the effect of their efforts so it's impossible to conclude they actually swung the election result.

Other than Democrats saying that, do you have literal proof how they interfered on behalf of trump?

You’re a kook, LG. I remember you in the Trump Putin threads certain Trump was a Russian agent. You were saying it was inevitable that Trump would be forced out of office. You will believe anything like this about someone from the other side of the aisle because you’re invested only in the Democratic Party. Buffoon. 😂

For time, cause I'm going to work, I only clicked on the last one. The first sentence, "putin likely to have". Again, concrete proof, not "we can't accept he won, so likely this happened ". That's all I've seen, show me anybody who was swayed because of Russia, or their propaganda.

The evidence is there and it's not really debatable. Perhaps you're conflating interference with collusion?

Sounds like you've decided and can't be convinced otherwise. You asked for non partisan evidence and it was presented, no one can make you look at it through an objective lense.
