Hope he does the same for her weekly conjugal visits back home. Remember the last time she was speaker and had a hissy fit ... insisting that the AF only us the larger VIP jets that could fly her nonstop from DC to CA? She may be high on the list in terms of presidential succession, but I hardly think that qualifies for her own VIP flights. Congressional critters are a dime a dozen; if she goes down, there are a few hundred ready replacements.

I don't know what her trip was about but no one in government leadership should be traveling unnecessarily until Trump gets over this wall nonsense and puts everyone back to work.

The funny thing is it makes Trump look petty and won’t change things. Trump is losing this fight. The wall is not popular and Trump is taking the brunt of the blame for the shutdown.

I'm not sure how necessary it was but I imagine if she believes it was worth going on she would find a way to get there. Her shutting down the SoTU was petty, Trump returned the favor in kind. I don't think either one of them knows where the high road is, if it weren't for the 800k people having to struggle over this BS, it'd be hilarious.

I partially agree you on this one. Government leadership shouldn't be traveling unnecessarily at our expense any time, and then it should be commercial in coach ... they might learn a thing or two.

It sounds like Trump is willing to negotiate, Pelosi is playing the bitter jilted lover. I threw up in my mouth saying that.

He's not, if he were - McConnell wouldn't be MIA. McConnell and Trump should be putting options on the table, they aren't.

Neither side is trying which is really disappointing. If these idiots would stop and realize there’s a chance here to show some leadership by proposing some deals. Just getting people talking again ffs.
