They aren't any more capable of bringing about change than anyone else. They have a vote which the majority of them probably don't even use. But if they don't like Trump and didn't want to meet him, they shouldn't have to and there is no reason to hold that against them. I said the same thing about the athletes who skipped visits to the White House when Obama was president.

No one is saying that they did not have the right to make the choice......but don't, after the repercussions of that decision come about, then get all "look at us" about it......weak crap IMO.....

What is your point? Because they didn't technically kneel, they shouldn't be upset about Trump's attack on their league and livelihood?

But, they ARE willing to meet with the groups that they say are actually abusing the people they are protesting for.......so, you are saying they are afraid of words but not deeds.....gotcha.....like it has been said.......missed opportunity to try and actually change the narrative.....

Yes I would, I have never had the opportunity to meet a sitting president or visit the WH other than the public tour.

What is the discussion about today........what do the players want the discussion to be about........it is not that hard to see if you would just think about it......if they had gone, cause furthered.....not going, it is just a pissing match......
