This isn't at all what they are saying. When we can get past all the hyperbole on both sides, maybe we can have a constructive conversation.

I think it would be good for the players in this situation to go to the WH and have a face to face conversation with the POTUS. I'm not hating that they aren't and see it as more of a thing they are publically doing to push a point, but going and speaking to the man could net a positive outcome.

Not sure how that would do anything to change the narrative.

Trump is the one that looks bad here. This is doing more to change the narrative than kissing the ring.

**** the narrative. They go and meet with him and force the conversation. Trump looking bad does nothing for what they want change with. Having the conversation and forcing it to him on that level at least opens up the dialogue.

Neither side looks particularly grown up and open to conversation. I know you want to put all the blame on one side, but what does that accomplish really?

Some Eagles players: We are not going because Trump hurt our feelings.

White House: ...........

Eagles: We would like to reschedule to when Trump is in Singapore.

White House: No, we keep original schedule.

Eagles: Ok we'll be there.

White House: Great, we'll prepare for the team.

Eagles: We want to reschedule a again, if we cant we are only sending very few.
