The Thread Where People Argue About Kneeling in the NFL (merged)

If I'm watching football... I just want to watch football... if I'm at a concert... I just want the performer to play....if I want politics.... I watch the news or surf this forum. That's it

I wish actors, musicians and etc. would keep their political beliefs to themselves.

And if you turned on a football broadcast, for the vast majority of the season, you would never see a player kneel. The NFL’s partners didn’t show it live. They aren’t stupid. They want to protect the league as much as the NFL does.

I know, but even so you can't escape the story. I haven't stopped watching, but I get sick and tired of hearing about it

I asked him what games he was watching. Try and keep up.

None of them threw the kneeling or political garbage in your face.

Trump and Pence were the only ones doing that and both made themselves look like ignorant yahoos in the process. Though it's not like we didn't know that about them already. Trump and Pence were playing to their misinformed/uninformed base. It's a terrible conflict of interest for Trump on two fronts. That the NFL wouldn't allow him to buy the Bills because they didn't want his blowhard ass in the league, and the fact that the kneeling is an act protected by the 1st amendment. His base is too stupid to realize it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with patriotism, or a lack of it. Being a patriot means you accept those type of protests regardless of whether or not you agree with it. People like you don't get that. While I didn't agree with it, I understand those of us who have fought for this country did so to protect our freedom to protest.

I had sex in a park with this Japanese chick on Guam and later watched a travel show and the host was standing right in front of the bench where we did most of the business. That brought back great memories. It was a great night.

Guam? Weren’t you scared the island was going to tip over?
Geeez man!

So they were shown? You said they weren’t showing them, and yet they were shown?

You mean they’re allegedly not showing them anymore?

Initially yes. They then stopped. With the exception of the Super Bowl. And I suspect they won’t be shown going forward. From week six on you had to hunt them down. And by that I mean you didn’t see during the authorized nfl broadcast. Sure it was all over the Internet.

I didn’t watch many games last year but they sure showed the kneelers.

Would you go into seizures if you saw a Muslim kneeling during our anthem? I mean you did walk off a plane bc of one.

Firstly, I didnt walk off a plane because I saw a Muslim. That was a joke. Believe what you want.

No I would not. I have friends who are Muslim. But again, whats wrong with being outraged? Just because you think its ridiculous?
