The Thread Where People Argue About Kneeling in the NFL (merged)

Firstly, I didnt walk off a plane because I saw a Muslim. That was a joke. Believe what you want.

No I would not. I have friends who are Muslim. But again, whats wrong with being outraged? Just because you think its ridiculous?

Did you really ask what is the matter with being outraged? How old are you? Do you have temper tantrums every time things don't go your way?

I had sex in a park with this Japanese chick on Guam and later watched a travel show and the host was standing right in front of the bench where we did most of the business. That brought back great memories. It was a great night.
I'm not sure if I could keep it up if they were filming, and the host was standing right there.

It’s why you do protests... they protested to get a reaction and got the reaction they expected. OT sucks for those of us that just love football and want to enjoy the game.

None of them threw the kneeling or political garbage in your face.

Trump and Pence were the only ones doing that and both made themselves look like ignorant yahoos in the process. Though it's not like we didn't know that about them already. Trump and Pence were playing to their misinformed/uninformed base. It's a terrible conflict of interest for Trump on two fronts. That the NFL wouldn't allow him to buy the Bills because they didn't want his blowhard ass in the league, and the fact that the kneeling is an act protected by the 1st amendment. His base is too stupid to realize it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with patriotism, or a lack of it. Being a patriot means you accept those type of protests regardless of whether or not you agree with it. People like you don't get that. While I didn't agree with it, I understand those of us who have fought for this country did so to protect our freedom to protest.

You are absolutely comical. You really think what Kaep did was a protest? Just shows how uninformed you truly are.

So you answered a question with more questions. How about trying to answer it logically? No I dont throw temper tantrums.

What is wrong with being outraged over something someone does? Again, is it just because you think those who get outraged are being ridiculous? If so, so what? Get over it.

I think you were not trying hard enough. You can always mute the broadcast and quit often they don't even show the national anthem.

Nothing is stopping anyone from enjoying the actual game, other than the inability to get over something that happened before the game started, that had nothing to do with the game itself.

It’s like leaving a football game during the national anthem because people in your section are yapping loudly on their cell phone or refusing to take their hats off.

People being on their phone or not taking their hat off pisses me off more than any player kneeling. The reason being is that I don’t think Kap is very bright and I don’t buy into his motivations. I don’t buy into the other guys motivations because I think 95% of them just want their name on Twitter or in the news. It’s become trendy because Trump (stupidly IMO) acknowledged what they were doing.

Nobody is signing CK because he has lost 25 pounds since becoming a vegan and a big time pu$$y because of his girlfriend and they don’t want the circus associated with him. I think Kap is an idiot and his mind has been distorted by a woman. A very radical left wing psycho woman.

And I don’t have time to waste worrying about CK or any other player’s motivation behind a silent pre-game “protest” if I’m there to see a football game.

During the 3rd quarter of a game, in between plays, they flashed back to the pregame anthem and took 10" to show that 4 players were kneeling. I lost my ****ing mind. Don't they know I'm here to watch football? Show me the crowd, the blimp, an ad, the owner, a cheerleader, etc. Anything but kneelers. I'm here to watch football!

Where do you think you are....America?

That’s not how private business works. What I say and do while at work or while representing my employer is not a matter of free speech. That is not what the 1st amendment defends.

Whether you think the anthem should or shouldn’t be part of the game day protocol, it is. As such, players should participate as the team requests.

Who said this was a First Amendment issue?

There were no rules in place during the NFL season regarding the anthem. The private business you referenced didn’t bother to address it from a policy standpoint until recently.

The plot thickens

Police also released incident reports Thursday from domestic disputes between McCoy and Cordon at the home on July 3, 2017, and April 11, 2018.

When police arrived at McCoy's home last July, McCoy said the couple had broken up and he had placed Cordon's personal items on the driveway. Police told McCoy he had to pursue a legal process to evict Cordon, but McCoy stated he was concerned she would take items from the home or make "false accusations" about him. McCoy told police he wanted to be careful around Cordon because of the "climate of domestic abuse in his profession," according to the report.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy's ex-girlfriend told police she believed home invasion could have been setup
