They were "socks"... not a t-shirt or a hat.
Your job does not dictate whether you can have an opinion in politics. If that’s the case Trump wouldn’t have ever been President, Reagan would have never been governor and president. Republicans had no problem with Ted Nugent either.
Yes I posted a meme, I'm so worried about them. I'm here calling them out for what they are, idiots.Your job does not dictate whether you can have an opinion in politics. Their insignificant and have zero influence yet you’re on a message board complaining about them? Lol
Let’s just remove everyone’s right to vote, express political opinions and only political figures can vote and voice their opinions
Kind of an off year for Super Bowl commercials. Didn't watch the game, but I tend to check out the YouTube later.
I liked the Pepsi, Hyundai elevator one and the Amazon Alexa one with the dog.
Dilly Dilly needs to go. Though I thought it was interesting they weaved Game of Thrones into it.
Apparently, the Jason Bateman Hyundai commercial offended Vegans and PETA with its beetloaf joke. The death of comedy continues .

Usually when people say this, they aren't mad everything has "gone political." Usually what they mean is that it has gone political in a direction they disagree with. If there was a celebrity/athlete out there constantly spouting political opinions, but you agreed with every single word they said, would you find it disgusting? I think we're wrong when we say that people don't care about celebrities opinions. I think people clearly do care, because it creates strong reactions one way or the other.I hate how everything has gotten political ....too many celebrities and athletes think they have to spew their opinions all over the place.... I find it disgusting

However, what celebrities do overestimate is their ability to actually change peoples' minds or create an outcome they want. I'm not sure a celebrity endorsement has changed the result of any election of any consequence.

But Trump (as a celebrity) had endorsed other Republicans in the recent past, like McCain and especially Romney, and they lost. This time he was the candidate himself. Some people have said the most effective celebrity endorsement of all time was Oprah endorsing Obama in 2008 - that probably helped him beat Hillary, but the Democrat that year, no matter who it was, was beating the Republican, no matter who it was. She might have been the reason Obama was elected instead of Hillary, but in the grand scheme of things, did that really change anything?Nobody endorsed Trump like Trump endorsed Trump.
He was a candidate himself in 2016. Totally different deal. I never said that nobody cares what celebrities think. Said the opposite, in fact. I said they don't really change elections."Nobody cares what celebrities think" - people that voted for a celebrity in 2016
