I voted for a buisnessman that wasn't a career politician.
Thanks AOC. Sorry your jealous that someone has money. Go practice your memes.Doesn't change the fact that he's a celebrity. There are a lot of business people in entertainment who have a created a net worth similar to Trump without being born on 3rd base, and none of you would call them businessmen because you want to have it both ways.
Personally, I disagree. Regardless of the stance or point of view there is a time and place for politics...... to me I wish it was just like the Gramps off topic thread.Usually when people say this, they aren't mad everything has "gone political." Usually what they mean is that it has gone political in a direction they disagree with. If there was a celebrity/athlete out there constantly spouting political opinions, but you agreed with every single word they said, would you find it disgusting? I think we're wrong when we say that people don't care about celebrities opinions. I think people clearly do care, because it creates strong reactions one way or the other.
However, what celebrities do overestimate is their ability to actually change peoples' minds or create an outcome they want. I'm not sure a celebrity endorsement has changed the result of any election of any consequence.
Yep. Take your silly ass opinion somewhere that someone GAF and cares to hear it, say a venue somewhere other than a sporting event. I’d like to just watch sports and spend my critical thinking time during that on how the refs just F’ed up a call.Well no sh**..... all I'm saying is I'd like to go to the game..... have a beer.... and forget about divisive BS for a while.... and while we're talking about opinions.... yours usually suck so FO
What's this "y'all" stuff? I'm just enjoying watching the pissing match between two sides of the same damn coin.
You responded in agreement with his deflecting AOC comment with your TDS comment, hence "y'all". I am 3rd party and I hate Obama as much as I hate Trump. I would actually go so far as to say Trump has done about as many good things in 2 years as Obama did in 8 (but also that Trump is doing a lot of bad things, maybe at a higher rate than Obama).
Truthfully, we are amazed that Dems keep pulling people with no practical experience from out of nowhere to be their saviors. Remember Obama? The unknowns apparently have the same attributes as a team's backup quarterback. They must be better because they have no record of accomplishment. The left has Trump Derangement Syndrome; it looks like the right has developed a counterpart in AOCD.
