I have articulated my opinion and you and others have called me names and insulted me. That is not debate. You use tired generalizations and result to name calling. That is not what I would call a debate. That is a temper tantrum.Considering this a is a forum designed for debate, it's more about articulating why your opinion is more correct than those you discuss with. I don't think you're able to do that here.
Ain't no one's mind ever changed in this sub-forum.

I never said I felt personally disrespected by anthem kneeling. Please show me where I said that even once. I'll wait while you go find the comment where I stated that or where I ever demanded or expected personal reverence. If you feel disrespected by anthem kneeling, you are 100% acting entitled to reverence. It's an absurd notion.

I am going to go grab a bite to eat because you are going to be a while.

Yeah. The ones that lost their limbs, that live in the streets because they can't deal with reality anymore after seeing the horrific things they saw, the ones that left their families with a hug and a kiss never to return yet that family has to carry on without their mom or dad or husband or wife or child. They deserve respect. I don't ask for or demand you show me and respect or reverence. But I would very much appreciate it if folks showed my brothers and sisters that didn't come back from their service as the same person a little bit of respect. You don't have to sing the song or put your hand over your heart. Just stand still for three minutes and don't move while that song plays. Then you can return to doing whatever you want to do. Why does that bother folks like yourself so much? Honest question. You referred to your borthers and sisters as being disrespected by kneeling.
Hope you microwaved your lunch.

You have to wear panties first if your intention is to get them in a wad.Well first off, I'm nowhere near a fan of LBJ, but I still cannot wrap my brain around why so many people get their panties in a wad over a flag or an anthem in the United States of America. There is nothing in the founding documents or anything spoken by the Founding Fathers or anything in the Constitution that says that an individual has to bow down to a piece of cloth or to a piece of music in order to be an American.
I swear, just like the left forces me to defend Donald trump, you conservatives put me in a position where I have to defend people like LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick.
The whole premise of your argument is that singing the national anthem and saluting the flag is nationalism and symbol worship and that it should not happen.Doesn't bother me at all. Feel free to point out where I stated it did.
I'll go smoke a pork butt so you have enough time.
