The Thread Where People Argue About Kneeling in the NFL (merged)

If you can comprehend the distinction between "must" and "should," then you should re-read the rule and see that you are incorrect.

Most all company policies have the words "may" and "should". That gives management the discretion to enforce, not to enforce or what level to enforce.

If you had any real world experience you would know this.

So has anyone addressed what the endgame of the kneeling is? What change exactly do they demand? How do they plan on assessing the change?

No. They don't know.

Basically the players have decided that they are bigger than the game and the owners are letting it happen. Ratings and/or revenue falls the owners will put a stop to it.

So, how do you handle things in Septown? Does everyone have freedom of speech, or just freedom of speech if you agree with said speech? If someone's feelings are hurt do you stop the speech? If the speech is offensive in nature do you stop the speech? Who decides which speech is offensive?

I'm not the one bellyaching about the left's rioting over feels and then also whining when the left protests peacefully.

Outside of pointing out that it of hypocrisy, I have nothing else to add. I'm just here to remind everyone that trump is a bozo who's yet to pass any meaningful legislation during a honeymoon period with a GOP house and senate.

Let that sink in.

Meanwhile, his idiotic core of supporters is being distracted by his idiotic tweets, as usual.

Why do you assume there is an 'end game'? Millennials aren't as impressed with nationalism or patriotism as former generations.

Without an end-game, what is the purpose?

To draw and keep attention on the injustices that are perceived?

The discussion is being had despite many trying to make this about what they're doing rather than why they're doing it.

Ahahaha. This is actually happening. The left is so deranged, they are now being duped into kneeling in front of Sessions like he's a royal monarch. I love it.

Keep it up!

I know you are really proud of your toilet demonstration metaphor, but it makes zero sense. This situation really has you fired up.

1. I am not all fired up... I am getting kick out of this for sure. The hypocrisy is at an all time high.

2. No, my toilet comment is right on point, which is why you want me to stop saying it.

3. All of your posts smell of desperation.

There is probably more room in their toilet for you as well, let me know what you get done in there. My guess... absolutely nothing.

Have you read a single article, or seen a second of coverage on any examples of the injustices they're protesting against during this flap? I haven't. In fact, the majority of articles I've read don't even mention why they're taking a knee except that they don't like Trump.

To be honest though, I wish they would cover the supposed injustices they're protesting, because most of them are bull ****. Hands up don't shoot? Lol. The justice system has by and large gotten it right.

Race-baiting attention seekers. What's the end game for people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?

I posted this previously and no one responded, read the article - is Nate Allen a "race baiting attention seeker?"

Yeah, they kind of are, this happened a few miles from my house just last year. Nate Allen was arrested for matching the description of someone he didn't look anything like.

Yep, just last year. Happened a couple of miles from me.

But since you don't hear about it, does that mean it doesn't happen?

Actually, very few people are discussing injustice.

Who is going to "address" this? There is no protest, its political grand standing. The owners have been duped and this won't turn out well for them. The players are now Trump's play toy.

As far as change, well that can't happen as this isn't a protest... now they are basically protesting Trump once again.... doing the King's work again for free. The irony. :eek:lol:

It started as protesting the killing of unarmed black people by police. Now they are protesting the POTUS calling them SOBs and saying they should be fired for expressing their constitutional rights. They feel the country doesnt honor them or treat them the same, and I agree it doesn't, so why should they honor it.
