Seems like a reasonable compromise. Honor the anthem, tell Trump to go f*** himself. Works for me.

Meanwhile, I took M. Bennett way too early, it seems, as he is hell bent on never catching a TD pass.

Typically the networks have to immediately refund some of the advertiser's payments if they don't deliver promused ratings. Fox, Disney, and CBS would take the immediate financial hit. Then in a couple of years they won't pay the NFL as much for the rights to broadcast games. Unfortunately many of the current players will be retired by the time the lower league revenue trickles down to player salaries.

I doubt many people freaking give a crap at this point, nobody wants to see this either... they want them to stand up, not coddling each other like little children.

I can't wait till this weekend, they'll be fetching the owners inside slippers and Sweat Tea. Maybe Jerry Jones will pat one of them on the head, well, if the Tea is chilled.

I thought you were refusing to watch. It sounds like you're more excited about this upcoming NFL Sunday than any in quite some time. I'm guessing that there are a few thousand more bitter old white guys who are claiming a boycott but can't wait to watch.

If you care about your rights, you must support them for others or sit on the sidelines while conscientious people do it for you. Millions of black Americans were deprived of their right for 60 years following Plessy vs Ferguson. Only because people continued to support and fight for their rights, were they granted them against state & federal sanctioned discrimination.

No, it isn't complex; supporting rights of everyone is a necessity for anyone who gives a damn about them.
