1a and 1b, IMO. At least Tiger's accomplishments won't be stricken from the record. Armstrong's legacy is completely disgraced after being on top of the world for years.
I think his downfall started earlier when his father died. Evidently he had some oats to sow after being governed so closely for so long. Guess he's not finished even now. Never catch Jack Nicklaus or Arnold Palmer in this position.
What exactly are you calling a downfall? Back injuries, surgeries, or a drunk driving charge? Plenty of athletes have been injured. Plenty of athletes have been caught with drugs or driving drunk. What is the downfall?That happened way after his career was over.
