I got around to watching it last night. I have no idea why they were shooting out windows. But the guy didnt fall off the tree stand, he was sniped by Ricks team. It was one of the lookouts that they were taking outThere really was some truly weird and stupid sh*t in this season premiere. Old Rick walking around with a cane while Michonne and Carl look the same. Rick taking a Polaroid shot after they shot out the windows(a random nod to Negan's head bashing photos?). Where the hell were all the saviors and why was Rick's group shooting at an empty building? Were they just screwing with the audience when the guy fell off the tree perch and mysteriously landed on his back? Was that a nod at the terrible van flip scene?

I thought it was ok. The best part was it didn't feel like the episode was dragging.
But the part where they wasted about 10,000 bullets was straight up dumb. And Rick is still incredibly incompetent.
They seem like they care about making scenes that they think "look cool" than making scenes that makes sense.

Yea, as valuable as bullets would be, I'd really like to know what the reasoning was for wasting thousands shooting at windows.
So you guys remember Morales from season one when he and his family left the group before they headed to the CDC....rumors going around that he is now a savior and will pop up in one of the next few episodes.
I thought it was decent but the writing is a mess. So much about it didnt make much sense. Aarons man seemed to run over the other spot for the exact purpose of getting shot. Plus their plan was to kill Saviors and let them turn to kill more, but since people turning always varies, that seems like a very poor plan; but hey convienient walker turn timing.

I see it's gonna be another season of people whining about everything in a show about zombies.
