The Walking Dead

Talking Dead is a better show than Walking Dead.

Ha!

I’ve only watched the Talking Dead maybe 7-8 times. Generally it’s been after a major death and/or a finale. Many times those have overlapped.

I do listen to an AfterBuzz podcast though. It’s not so rah-rah about (but nowhere near as negative as this thread gets).

I'm glad the trash people got what was coming to them. That was cathartic.

"We have to save the gazebo, we sat on top of it". Lol GTFO

Latest episode got a 6.82 rating, the lowest since March 4, 2012, and in the 18-49 demo it was the lowest since the next to last episode of Season 1. You could blame the Oscars, except the Oscars' ratings were the lowest in Oscar history.

Of course again, in perspective still high for cable, but the trend has to be troubling because they continue to drop. Since the Glenn/Abraham Season 7 Premiere, the ratings have dropped 60%.

Shouldn't have killed Glenn.

Folks on this board have been howling for Carl’s scalp forever. Too late? Last episode was worth the cringe just to have Jadis drop the pretentious Heapite speak.

As one of the biggest defenders of the show in this thread it’s humbling to admit I haven’t worked up the enthusiasm to watch mid season premier and now I’m two episodes behind.

Watching this show feels like a chore at this point.

One I am dutifully completing on a weekly basis.

From the comments here, it would seem that the show itself has taken on the characteristic of it's title.

I'm glad I haven't wasted any time watching it since the episode where Glenn didn't die beside a dumpster.

So now the Saviors are going to invade the Hilltop and try and cut people with infected shovels and other various sharp objects. Did everyone on Rick's side lose their weapons and ammo? Did they suddenly just abandon the fundamental that you have to get bit by a walker?

A scratch was always another way to get infected but they kinda stopped letting characters get scratched.

Seems like infected blades is kinda dumb though. How many times have they covered themselves in guts? You telling me they never got any of that in their eyes or mouth? I some how doubt hand hygiene is at its peak in this world.

Consistency with how infections happen has always been one of the shows weakest points.

Well, that and zombies.
