The Walking Dead

A scratch was always another way to get infected but they kinda stopped letting characters get scratched.

Seems like infected blades is kinda dumb though. How many times have they covered themselves in guts? You telling me they never got any of that in their eyes or mouth? I some how doubt hand hygiene is at its peak in this world.

Consistency with how infections happen has always been one of the shows weakest points.

I'm also wondering why in 8 years of this show this method of "warfare" hasn't been implemented? Or has it?

More important question is, where are they getting all this fuel for their vehicles?

Gas stations would pretty much be non existent in an zombie apocalypse.

Yea. Covered themselves numerous times. I seem to remember Rick killing one that was on top of him with a knife through the chin that poured zombie blood like a pitcher of kool-aid down on his face.

I was wondering if that's the route their really going to take. Might be the last straw for me considering the numerous times they've been soaked in zombie blood and guts whether intentionally or accidentally. It never got in their eyes? Mouth? Cuts or wounds just from trying to survive? Bull****.

Plus on FTWD, Nick especially does it all the time.

Gabriel's sickness is really making no sense. He gets sick after being covered, but now his infection is taking longer than anything ever on the show, and now it has phases and apparently it can now make you go blind? And he can just get some antibiotics and he'll get better? If it's supposed to not be "the" infection they've done a very poor job of conveying it.

Also, another reason I want Tara to die: she tells Dwight "You can't just switch sides and everything is ok" or something like that.

Um....Tara....that's exactly what you did, or did you forget you were one of The Governor's goons?

To be fair, Tara didn’t realize the Governor was the way he was until they showed up at the Prison. But still thought the same lol

Another rant, Negan, much like other characters, is crazy inconsistent.

Simon wants to wipe out the Junkyard people because they aren't following; Negan goes off on him saying people are a resource and they need them.

He turns around says the Hilltop will learn to follow "dead or alive", and now is planning on attacking with walker guts to infect some, which could lead to many deaths if someone turns they don't know is sick and it spreads.

I'd chalk it up to he's a maniac but that's not how Negan is supposed to be.

But he doesn’t want to nor intend to kill them all. Only scare and intimidate. Dead people are no good to him, because dead people won’t continue finding food and weapons for him to take.

I see him as consistent

Secretly infecting people is a terrible plan for someone who doesn't want to kill, considering how quickly it can spread and he has no idea how it would play out.

Also, he probably shouldn't be declaring they'd learn it "dead or alive" if he actually wants most of them alive.

So anyone that wants to kill Negan has had one or more opportunities to do so.

And yet they don't?

As one reviewer put it, Negan has very strong "plot armor".

I mean why else would Rick just blindly fire his gun into the car instead of checking it out first? Or why else would just get rid of his machine gun instead of using it to shoot at Negan? Or when he's down to his axe, he just throw it at him?

I get why the writers wouldn't want to kill Negan yet. It's just stupid though to continually put him in positions where a rival can kill him, and yet they don't for some reason.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to kill. It’s that he doesn’t want to kill everyone. And I doubt a few zombies are going to take out the entire group.

He’s only saying the “dead or alive” thing in front of the whole group. In front of his LT’s he’s saying something different. I think the obvious answer is that he’s trying to look strong in front of his people with the “dead or alive” comment.

been with this show from the beginning, and one of my all time favorites, but these last two seasons have really started to piss me off. there was a point where one of the great things about the show was the development of characters and all the interaction....

now it just feels like filler. and i like Rick less and less, not because he's bad or anything, but really, what else is there for him to be on this show at this point? Darryl has a few grunts.....Carol has all but been a non participant.

anyway, i'm in it and have been, so i'm sticking with it. but at this point, this story is just being dragged on and on. it's been 3 weeks since we last saw King E....any chance we can get an update on what happened to him??? Jesus? Aaron?

point being, they could condense a lot of the stories down, not every episode needs to be an hour on a single plot line...that goes no where.
