What do you guys do to get motivated when you don't really feel like hitting the gym?
And I've been eating a crap ton, as per usual.
Normal weeks I am pretty sore for a day or two, depending on which muscle group.
This week, I can barely function.
I watch a youtube video of Kai Greene, Dorian Yates, or Evan Centopani's routines (if leg day, watch them do legs).
I'm motivated by learning something new. It doesn't have to be from a video. But trust me....if you learn something new, you'll want to go to the gym and try it immediately. That's the best motivator, IMO.
Hey fellas, I need to drop AT LEAST 10 pounds in 9 days (10 counting today). Y'all are good with advice. Please tell me what the best and most healthiest way would be? I'm going to be working 10-14 hour days this week so I wont be able to do much running if any at all. Thanks for your help. Would you suggest just fasting? I have a half bottle of Oxyelite left but honestly that stuff does not curve my appetite and I ending up binging when it wears off anyways. So what do I do???
eta: I don't want to lose a lot of muscle. I really need to lose the weight in my face.

I've read so much about overtraining, and every website defines it differently. I realize there's different ways you could overtrain, but I hear do this on one website and DON'T do this on another.
Is your goal every week to obliterate your muscles to the point where you can't even lift your arms after a workout, or do you only do a workout like that every once in a while? Because it seems like I'm doing it every week. I will go to the point of exhaustion, and then do more sets on a similar exercise. I can't even do a pushup after I finish my chest workout, and this is an every week thing. Normal?
Lucky.

Oh well, the Smith machine doesn't bother me much on decline bench. I can't stand it for flat bench, and it's slightly better than terrible on incline.
