The Weightlifters Thread

Decided to quit smoking and get back in the gym after 3 years. I need help with a routine to get going. I'll have 6 days available, probably to workout 5 of them.

I used to target lower body/back, upper body, core/cardio, rest, circuit. As a 5 day schedule.

I really don't remember reps or anything. Find a weight tomorrow I can do 12 times twice, then Max rep the last set?

Somebody help me out with this before eleven ct and it would be much appreciated. If I am really sore from working out hard what would be the best over the counter pain reliever to normalize my golf swing?

I prefer Aleve but once you start moving & loosen up you will be ok.
 
I'm fit everywhere, except a little extra in the love-handle department. I don't feel like I have much weight to lose at all, but I can't seem to get rid of them. Any tips?

Could just be your imagination. I was in the same boat until my wife told me I was crazy. I think we see them bigger than they really are, we're already good at that.

Is it joint pain or muscle pain you're having trouble with? I've never used fish oil, but I hear it's really beneficial for joint recovery.
 
If you "like" Muscle pharm's page on Facebook, they post different workouts fairly frequently. I tried one of their chest workouts last night and it was pretty tough. Definitely felt good switching up the routine.

And to add to the above: cissus seemed to help out my joint pain a bit as well.
 
My wife put the kabosh on driving 2 hours up the coast. She's had enough of the car. I wanted to go to the Venice Beach Gold's. Won't be my last time in SoCal, so no big deal. Next time.

You need to get your house in order. What's the point of having muscles if you're just your woman's bich?

I've been there... It was five or six years ago, but it still seemed like some serious turf. Talking minimum squat requirement to go work out there. Not sure what, I just knew I didn't cut it.
