The Weightlifters Thread

I don't like him anymore, that's part of the reason. I still have my copies of Pumping Iron and the Bodybuilding Encyclopedia.

Bunch of pansies. You're fine critiquing every female form you see, but you're not willing to take the risk yourself. Bunch of cowards.

I will be the first d-bag to show some pics. The first pic is about 2 weeks left in my cut. Started at 220 and finished at 185. Diet was about 22 weeks. The second pic was like a week ago sitting at 190. These were the only ones I had on my phone.

If the weight loss was your goal congrats but you looked healthier & better in the before pic. You didn't look 220.

It was my goal. The 2nd pic was me at 190 like a week ago. I did not post any of the ones at 220.

Oh yeah I forgot, I know someone else posted some a while ago. I think it was huffhines?

Think I farked up my back doing deadlifts and playing basketball without proper recovery. Never realized how much you use your back jumping to play ball. I've cut out deads for a month and a half and still don't feel like I've recovered.

I'm thinking about beginning them again at a light weight. Thoughts?

Keep your back straight, and let your legs do all the work. Like you said start out light to see how it feels. Also, do you wear a lifting belt? If not I would recommend getting one.

Yeah, deadlifts with light weight is awesome....also back extensions. Get that christmas tree cut in the small of your back. Just cause you can go heavy doesn't mean you should. The most I usually do is 185
