The Weightlifters Thread

Does it irritate y'all as badly as it does me when someone asks you that? It drives me crazy.

I can tell when someone wants to ask but is timid to do so. Those really don't bother me. What gets me are the total strangers who just comes out and asks point blank, no beating around the bush.
 
Going to start incorporating legs twice a week. One day for quads and another for hamstrings. Just did part one and can barely walk.
 
I've been off stimulants the entire month. Zero caffeine. I'm gonna try a new PreWO tomorrow by Bettancourt Nutrition. It's a day early but tomorrow is leg day. I need the extra umph on leg day.
 
Yeah. I think it's been 6 weeks or so since I quit caffeine. Might start back up with jack3d soon. I've got 3 tubs stockpiled. Shoulda bought more.
 
I will be doing it shortly as well. I just got a lot more time freed up for the gym. Girlfriend of 3 years= dirty whore. Women, can't live with em... Can't kill em haha.
 
Same here man. Two and a half years deep. Not a dirty whore though.

Time to get that 24 Hour Fitness membership back and go drop some coin at Max Muscle.
 
I've gained weight since I came to AZ cause the beer is so good. I always liked beer, but in Utah it's more work to get drunk/buzzed so I didn't do it as much. They got a 6% local beer here (Kilt Lifter) and it's amazing. Drinking calories has me up 10 lbs in 2 months.
 
Haven't worked out in months after successfully dieting my way down about 25lbs. Just went in today, and decided to go head first. Whole body workout. Varied from 4x8-4x12 and 7x7 depending on lift/weight, and didn't take breaks of longer than 45 seconds except three times for water the entire workout.

Squats
Deadlifts
Leg extensions
Leg curls
Calf raises (2 different ways)
Lat pull-downs
Pull-ups
Upright rows
Lateral delt raises
Dumbbell bench press
Dumbbell incline flies
Shoulder press
Concentration curls
Hammer curls
Tricep dips
Tricep extensions
And about 100 crunches

Then a 20 minute jog/run

It took every ounce of concentration I had to walk down a few flights of stairs. Maybe this whole thing was a bad decision.

How about you spend that on good clean food. Chicken, lean beef, oats, brown rice, natural PB, eggs and other stuff. Supps are not going to make you big. It is the nutrition and hard work in the gym that do it. Supplements, supplement what you don't get from food.
