Anyway wanting to get below 10 percent body fat. Currently at 12ish. Eating at a couple hundred deficit and lifting heavy. Any tips?

Run a 500 calorie deficit. You will lose one pound of fat a week and maintain most of your muscle. I lost 18 lbs since August doing it, and I was in pretty good shape in August (not sure what fat % was and is - but I can see oblique striations for the first time in my adult life).

I've been doing a 150 to 200 one. hit a wall so I guess I'll move to 500. Just worried about losing.

About which part good sir? I know atleast one guy that does competitions posts here. I don't know anyone that advanced in real life so tips are welcome.

Maybe I'm missing something, but you just claimed to have a dead lift max of about 600lbs during a cut phase.

What formula/calculator do you use?

If you get enough protein I don't think you lose much. Particularly quality proteins - chicken, eggs, etc.

Tip: remove some of the egg yokes from your scrambled eggs before stirring it up. I think it tastes better that way, it's far less cholesterol and you get rid of a lot of the calories without losing much of the protein.

If I eat 5 eggs whole, that's like 350 calories and 30 g of proetein.

If I cut out 3 of the yokes, that's like 200 calories, 24 g of protein, and it's pretty filling for the calories.

Thanks dude. I really like that egg tip. Never thought about it, but i guess i assumed the yoke had all of the nutrition.

So what are everyone's goals for 2015?

I want to squat 400 lbs. & have a successful cut that gets me to single digit body fat %

My goal is to reach the SPF World Championships in Las Vegas in Sept in the 308lb division and achieve a 2000lb total.

I would be ok with a 1900lb total in the 275lb division if I decide to cut that much weight this coming year. I am at 322lbs now and already down 10lbs from November.

Anyone have a recipe for sardines?

I've been living off turkey chili and fiesta chicken (mccormicks). I'd like to add sardines to my diet, but they taste so damn bad.

The only person I've ever seen eat sardines just put them on club crackers with salt. He swore by it.

I like the fat content, and I love how cheap they are. I used to eat the mustard sardines as a kid on crackers. Maybe I need to try those again.

Since my surgery on my arm, I can't lift heavy for about another year. So I've decided to cut. I started off around 200lbs and 20-25% body fat.

Weighed in at 177 today. Body fat was measured by a caliper and between 15-18%,

I'm trying to cut down to 12 or less.

I know I've lost a lot of muscle mass, but there's a lot of exercises I can't do due to arm currently.

In case anyone is wondering about sardines, I've done some research:

Most things I've read recommend acidic (sour) foods mixed with sardines. So I bought sardines in olive oil and mixed them with balsamic vinegar to make a vinegrette.

I had to go heavy on the balsamic to limit the strong fishy taste, but it wasn't bad

I'm going to try eating it in too of spinach next time with some walnuts.
