Things I'm happy about today

Special day for us. Brings happiness and some sadness. GVG's mom and dad would have been celebrating their 65th Anniversary. We are celebrating our 40th and it's GVG's BDay. I missed being an Anniversary baby by 5 days. Her mom was preggers and working at St. Mary's when I was born there. We have been tied at the hip since birth...although her mom said if she had known, I would have been a SID's incident.

I'm happy to have the best damned SWAT team in the nation. I beleive in the great majority of this country this would have ended in bloodshed. Even here there were calls to just kill the guy and end it sooner etc. CPD SWAT showed professionalism, and patience, and kept the goal of not unaliving anyone unless absolutely nesc. This happened VERY VERY close to where I grew up and my elderly parents were in lockdown most of the day. As a result I followed the situation as closely as able. Both Sides of the patch as they say worked well together today. I am so proud that they took the high ground, and patiently waited him out for a peaceful resolution. If your loved ones are in harms way or a hostage THESE are the cool and leveled heads you want saving them. One of their retired number is a a dear friend to me, and was the one I called when my family was in harms way during an active shooting. There might be larger and more well funded SWAT teams, but to my mind they are peerless.

So UTC didn't get to set a record since 1958....but someone said this is biggest margin win since 1936 for UT......makes me proud as a vol..... makes me kinda sad as a moc. TN better be 10-2 or better though. Will smart less if they can run the table.

DUDE! I freaking love it. That color is bad ass. What year is it. What color interior?

Seriously, that's sweet.
2019. Black leather interior. Sunroof, black sliding rear window, Someone paid for all the bells and whistles and put a lift and tires on it. Even has a tonneau cover. Only 28k miles

Wow, that's great mileage. I've seen that color irl and I really like it.

I'm glad your trans went out. Lulz.

Congrats, that's a nice ride. I love me some trucks.

Fed funds at 5.33%

Paying a 0.45% premium for a used truck loan (how many years?) doesn’t seem unreasonable.

Yes, and in 2019, I paid less that $5 for a single premium robusto from brick & mortar retail. Everything is at least 2X what it was five years ago.
