Well Pence was a governor too so…

Edit: I just read the post you responded to so I’ll shut my Capt Obvious trap now.

The adults are talking.

You do realize that if Scott were to become president he would become like all the rest of our corrupt idiotic presidents before him? I mean it’s just a matter of time. Washington DC could corrupt anyone.
The USA doesn’t need to have Opie Taylor in the Oval Office. Sensible and coherent leadership would be refreshing though . I don’t know too much about TS, but Pepperjax has had enough of the Biden utopia.

Haley is like a spineless, groveling version of Liz Chaney. You can tell she wants off the trump train because she’s jumped off about five times. But once she realizes nobody else jumped she grovels to get let back on. I guess it’s like George P. Bush letting Trump talk **** about his family. If you’re not willing to stand up for yourself/your family you’re not going do anything inconvenient for me and mine.
That can be true, and she paired with Scott can still be better than anything else being trotted right now.

Who do you think would pair well with Scott? I think you said you like Pence too?

He has a lot of power if he can deliver South Carolina, even more if Michelle O steps into the race.
Otherwise, not so much

2016 called and disagrees. And spare us with your fake conservatism or concerns for the republican party. You Harris Biden 2024 yard sign will be delivered on Monday.

LOL There seems to be a consistent theme among most people in Trump’s base. They all think if you don’t want 4 more years of Trump, then you must be a Democrat.

Not wanting Trump in no way means I want Biden. I reluctantly voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. I’d take him over another 4 years of a Democrat, but that isn’t saying a lot. There are better, less divisive options for the GOP to go with. The sooner the GOP distances itself from Trump, the better off the party will be.

You’re confusing Clyburn delivering SC for Biden… in the Primaries.

SC is dead Red in the General.

The GOP as we know it which is just a DBA of the uniparty needs to to be destroyed.

Sen. Tim Scott files to run for president in 2024

“Democrats mocked Scott's entry into the Republican race, calling him a Trump-like politician who wants to ban abortion, reduce Social Security and Medicare, and ease regulations on big business.”

Anyone that dare oppose the Biden Regime will be labeled a Trump-like politician. “Tim Scott is coming for your Medicare! He wants to force women back to the kitchen!”

Predictable.

It’s why we shouldn’t nominate a moderate. The R next to the candidates name = Literally Trump! In the eyes of the media and the democrat party.

I think Scott is a moderate and reasonable alternative to Trump. I'd consider voting for him over Biden.

LOL Don’t lie

I'm not. If Scott said he favors deregulation, tax enforcement and elimination of some exemptions for the wealthiest, would continue to support Ukraine, said he doesn't really care much about the so called woke issues and sees it as a distraction from working g on economic issues, I'd say it's better than 50 50 I'd vote for him.

If he says that he needs to run on the Dem ticket.

Edit: LOL I brushed by your “favors deregulation“ comment. WTF? You want a candidate in favor of deregulation that will crush us with taxes and enforcement?

The two are not mutually exclusive and I marvel at the GOP's inability to separate them out from one another.

I really don’t know much about Tim Scott. We need someone bold. I wish Mark Robinson would throw his hat in the ring.

Why would Scott need to say or do anything to earn your vote over Biden?

I understand why you wouldn’t vote for Trump over Biden. Until there is a cure for severe cases of TDS, you will continue in your condition. But literally anyone else that’s entered the race thus far is better than President poops his pants, by a country mile.

Hard pass on anyone who is anti all the vaccines
I'm not anti vax but anyone who might challenge the stranglehold big pharma has on this country I might support...... Behind MIC they are the second biggest threat to the public.

Whoever wins the Republican nomination, assuming (hopefully) not Trump, will undoubtedly be labeled “the second coming of Trump” or at the very least “very Trump-like”.

Disagree entirely. Many Republicans running have said they are running to not be Trump.
